Great Falls College Community Choir presents an evening of music and dessert

The 2018 "Feast of Sweets"

GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls College Community Choir will offer an evening of music and decadent treats on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m.

"Feast of Sweets" will feature a variety of music sung by members of the Great Falls College Community Choir, as well as a bounty of homemade desserts, coffee and tea.

"The music will be a variety of duets and solo pieces," said Cynthia Stevens, choir director. "The performers include community members, and faculty, students and staff from the college."

There will be 10 to 15 different performances during the concert, featuring a wide range of music from Broadway songs to classic American music.

During the concert, homemade desserts, made by members of the choir, will be served.

"Feast of Sweets has become a tradition for the Great Falls College Community Choir," Stevens said. "It is one of two fundraisers that we do each year."

Admission is $10 per person. Funds raised will go toward the Great Falls College MSU music department and will help offset expenses for choir members who are traveling to Italy in May. The evening will also include a silent auction. The performance will take place in Heritage Hall inside Great Falls College MSU, 2100 16th Ave. S.

At the Feast of Sweets performance, members of the Student Government Association will be conducting a food and toiletries drive to benefit the Great Falls College Odds N' Ends Pantry. Please consider bringing an item to support the pantry, which can be accessed by all GFC MSU students.
